Replica artillery pieces will be placed where they were in 1864 battle

Franklin’s Charge Cannon Committee, led by Chairman Cullen Smith, recognized the need for the accurate replica artillery in telling the story of the bloody Nov. 30, 1864, battle, and worked to secure the three 3-inch Ordinance rifles and a 12-pounder Napoleon to be displayed on the site as they were during the battle.
